Intelligent use of light-weight materials, aerodinamic design and a wide palette of available motors are facts that secure its sporty nature, and give you feeling that this car is part of you in any bend. And the fact that you can do all this with a roof down is a evidence of brilliance of BMW engineers. The hard aluminum roof folds down on a push of a button in just 20 seconds. And feeling that you get while driving such a car is sometimes just to intense to be described it with words.
But, engineers in BMW also added few special features that are well appreciated. The best example of these features are tires with reduced rolling resistance. Less resistance means more power available for accelerating and driving, and this means better fuel eficiency, and less noise generated by tires.

All versions of Z4 come with standard six speed manual transmission, but few models have six speed automatic transmission as option. Z4 has shown remarkable qualities in every apprehensible way. Award winning design, great agility and manuverability, and very high fuel eficiency are only few of this car's qualities.

BMW has tackled many problems in the past, but this one is, by far, most controversial one - Performance Hybrid. As anyone can imagine, hybrid is something that was meant to preserve fuel and to handle fuel eficiency problems, C02 emissions etc. But BMW is not the only one in this confusing part of auto-industry. Many of car producers have their share in this. The idea which producers have adopted is to take a big SUV with very poor fuel eficiency, make it even heavier by adding a electic motor and a battery, and try to save on fuel by shutting the main engine when possible.

New BMW's X6 managed exactly that. It is using batteries as long as possible and whenever possible, making that 4.4l 400 HP twin turbocharged V8 engine consume almost less fuel than possible. With power plant like this, BMW also managed to create the most powerful hybrid there is. Being all that, X6 ActiveHybrid is lot more agile than you might expect. This is mainly due to torque vectoring rear differential that applies more power to outer wheel when cornering. This strange device makes car to make otherwise impossible turns. This is most appreciated when parking and navigatin in tight spaces.

The other features are quite a standard for Hybrids, except for the fact that X6 actually manages not to start the main engine at any pressure applied to the throttle. It runs consistently on batteries, and accelerates without starting that V8. All in all, this is a nice car to drive, and the excess weight by the Hybrid stuff hasn't make this car slower. It is even nicer to see that car manufacturers are doing something to preserve our planet and save some fuel, even if it means that this car is still burning more fuel per mile than most smaller cars.

What do you think of first when you hear the name Bentley? Most of us will agree that is certainly not a person who belongs to the middle class. Also with this car you do not go to the market, if you want to drive this car you must feel like Bentley. This also means that Bentley is not just a car, it is a symbol of class, luxury and prestige. But to afford Bentley you cannot think that way, Bentley is not something you afford, it is a car that deserves to be treated and bought differently – with excess of style and glory.

Bently has a great history that started in 1919 and few years later Bentley won its first 24 hour of Le Mans. It repeated performance in next three years also. Bugatti, which was its main competiton described Bentley as a „the world's fastest lorries“.

We can't say that period under Rolls Royce managment was faliure, but since VW bought Bentley it is taking huge steps forward. VW realized that the company was in need of financial help, like at the begining, and decided to invest into modernizing factory and preparing it for production on a larger scale. And now, we can say that Bentley is returning its former glory. Cars are as massive as they've always been, but more luxurious and with more style. These cars are built to last, and to display power. Whether you like mountain that rides on wheels or a car that can move mountains, and if you want all that to be done with style, Bentley is your choice.

Cadillac follows a well known path in luxury SUV class, and presents re-adapted old model of Escalade. But we can't blame them for that, the car has marched its way up to the top of its class through years.

When we compare previous model to the new one the differences ranges from, easy to notice, door structure changes to, less obvious, front side impact airbags, and cylinder deactivation technology. When it comes to fuel consumption, this technology is well appreciated improvement, and it can reach about 20 mpg on a freeway. The reason for poor fuel efficiency lies beneath the hood. 6.2l V8 engine that was introduced last year is still burning fuel to get this four wheel mountain moving. But problems begin when it comes to stopping.The only thing that can stop this monster are its brakes, and they can hardly do their job. To come to a halt from 60 mph this car needs approximately 145 feet.

There are four different versions of this Cadillac, and even the cheapest versions come with hefty set of accessories and goodies. Auto-dimming driver side mirror, xenon headlights and 18'' alloy wheels are just example of standard exterior equipment for cheapest models. Goodies on the inside are fantastic too, AC separated in three zones, navigation system, premium audio system etc. And all of this is just for entry-level models, in Luxury and Premium models these lists are endless, but it would be unfair to forget to mention some of them.

Goodies like sophisticated adaptive suspension, blind spot warning system and a lot more for Luxury models, and ever enjoyable DVD player in Premium models.

The Audi S5 is created to provide perfect image of the deluxe sport car market. A new model has been developed with a six cylinder engine with the capacity to generate a horsepower of 333. The S5 car is still on hand for 2010 with the old year's 4.2 liter V8 engine, which creates 354 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torsion.

The 2010 S5 model can be matched with the standard six-speed manual machine. It can get from an idle position to approximately 80 kmp in just 4.9 seconds with a manual make which can slow to 5.1 seconds with the automatic machine. The V6 cabriolet machine has to take 5.1 seconds to get to 80 kmp, even with the additional weight.

The fresh V6 engine betters the fuel efficiency of its V8 buddy. The spots car 14 mpg in the urban areas, 22 mpg on the freeway, and 17 mpg jointly with a manual conduction. The Acura RL is considered the premium car for luxury automobile producer Acura. The first version of the Acura RL is very similar to the Honda Legend, which is sold in Japan. The 4th generation Acura RL was rumored to contain a roaring V-8 engine as well as rear wheel drive. Unfortunately, the economic slope of 2008 caused this project to be shelved prematurely.

The first generation Acura RL was meant as a replacement for the Acura Legend, and premiered in early 2006. Research had shown that consumers associated Acura products my their model name, and not by the brand name, Acura, itself. They decided to replace these names in future models with shorter, alphanumeric names, ergo the RL or RSX. When the first Acura RL came off production lines, it was expected to provide Lexus with a run for it's money. It quickly fell short of these expectations.

The engineers at Acura learned from there mistakes, but it was a slow, constant process. The 1999 release featured a changed body design along with HID headlights, restructured foglights, , and redesigned front and rear bumpers. The chassis and suspension were given an overhaul, and passenger and driver airbags were included to increase safety standards. After three years, the Acura RL finally seemed to be making headway in sales.

The dawn of the new millennium brought with it a sack load of technical upgrades for the Acura RL, including a bigger screen for the navigation system and a conversion for DVD based mapping databases. 2002 introduced re-envisioned alloy rims and more functional mudflaps. It was also the year that gave it a new suspension set up. The most important upgrade for the Acura RL in 2002 was the engine capability, which could now put out an impressive 225hp. The Acura RL has continued to evolve from then up til 2008, and remains an impressive vehicle.

Cadillac SRX

Unlike its bigger brother, 2010 Cadillac Escalade, 2010 SRX isn't such a big success. This, mainly, comes from the fact that it uses a lot smaller and less powerful engine. It comes with standard 3.0 V6 engine that produces 265 hp, or, optional, 2.8 turbocharged version. The second version has significantly larger power output of 300 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque. But don't get mislead by numbers. They tell their story, off course, but it's not the only story this car has to tell.

First of all, this car wasn't built to challenge Escalade and its supremacy, it is a crossover SUV. This means that it was built a lot more like a passenger car and a lot less like a truck. This would explain power deficiency, and absence of third row of seats. Since it was not meant to be heavy duty work machine, car dynamics and handling had a lot more space to improve. When it comes to driving, you'll, definetly, feel a lot comfort driving SRX turbocharged versions since they come with all wheel drive systems, and adaptive suspension that has been tuned in sporty manner. Every version of this car has a nice palette of standard equipment. Even the base models have eight channel audio, AC divided in two zones and 18'' alloy wheels. Higher levels have it all. They come with sunroof, xenon headlamps, and lots and lots of other stuff.

To conclude the story of SRX, we have to mention that it has a lot of problems keeping up with its competitors on the road. The car seems to be just to heavy, even front wheel drive models are as heavy as competition's AWDs, and this is biggest downside of this car. But the „I got it all“ style in Premium and Performance models is nice way to replace that lack of power.
